Out in the country, far out of the way
Up in the tree is where we spent the day.
Climbing to the top, hanging over the road
We sat and waited with rocks in tow
Hiding in the branches, way out of sight
We hid there for hours, to the best of our might.
Then when the cars came rolling along,
I did what I did just to belong.
Rocks rained down from our hide away,
And pelted the cars in the light of day
Some would stop, and look to the top
Some even called and along came a cop.
He found his way down without me
I stayed there for hours and held my pee
Frightened to go home, scared they would see
The little redhead in the top of the tree
