May not make sense...

But if I didn't get this out of me, I would never be able to concentrate tonight. So here it is:

You hide your face from the shine,
Of those that tempt you to love,
Freely accepting without whine,
Simply living with wings of a dove.

Scorn thrown their way,
Your pity is your shame.
Dare to see what lay
In the face of freedom’s blame.

Fingers always pointing,
Gossip feeds your gut.
Strife wills an anointing,
Of your own bloodlust.

Tossing at you a smile,
In hate’s direction so wild,
Walls crumble and defile,
Love empties as if a child.

Complexity is hard to find,
In hearts of simple and kind.
Our heart so easy to see,
When you set your judgment free.
